Amber’s professional career began in early childhood education. She taught and nurtured infants, toddlers and preschoolers in New Hampshire and Maine for 10 years, but decided to leave her dream job as Director of the Childcare Center at Berwick Academy in Maine to take a chance on a new journey at Shanti. She has been the Salon Manager since early 2004, and has formed a true love for the beauty industry as well as customer service over the years. She feels extremely fortunate to have found a second career just as rewarding as her first! Amber is a wonderful asset to the Shanti culture. She prides herself on being a consummate professional, and she gives clients an experience that is not only welcoming, but efficient from booking to checkout. Regular clients of the salon truly look forward to spotting Amber while they are in for their appointment. Besides the professionalism she brings to the salon, in her personal life she is married to her best friend, Sean, and they have a beautiful and funny son Anders with whom they love adventuring with.
