Raised in Massachusetts, Andrea has spent the majority of her life cultivating a keen interest in art through various creative disciplines. She earned a dual degree in Design and Visual Arts from Northern Essex, while at the same time establishing herself as an artist with multiple publications in college journals. Andrea was chosen from a small group of students to have her illustrations appear in a deaf studies dictionary utilized by Gallaudet University Regional Center. Over time, Andrea’s nurturing side led her to channel her art into a more tangible form. She attended Empire Beauty School, graduating in 2007, and shortly thereafter joined the distinguished staff at Shanti Salon in Newburyport where she’s worked ever since. Andrea has a wide range of abilities, and can create both uniquely fashionable looks as well as traditional styles through dynamic color, flattering cuts, and a diverse set of techniques – all individually tailored to each particular client. She has developed a deeply loyal client base not only because of her creativity, but also her warm and welcoming disposition. In her spare time she enjoys riding her Motorcycle, photography, and anything that involves improvisational comedy.
