Emily discovered at a young age that making someone feel beautiful could have a truly positive impact on them. She loved styling her friends’ hair and makeup for their High school dances. She attended the Paul Mitchell School in Portsmouth, NH, Soon after, she discovered Shanti Salon and fell in love with its culture. Upon completing Shanti’s apprentice program her hobby became her
profession. Her summers vacationing on Plum Island inspired her to make the move to New England from small town Pennsylvania. Emily made her dreams of becoming a hair stylist come true by working hard and treating each client like they are her only client. She specializes in curly cuts and teaching people to love their curls by helping them follow the appropriate styling routine for them. When she is not in the salon making people feel beautiful, Emily loves everything art related. From drawing to woodworking, Emily is an artist in many respects. She spends every extra moment discovering the hidden beauties of New England.
